The Blackdown Hills

Blackdown Hills

The Blackdown Hills are a group of hills lying on the Devon/Somerset Borders. In 1991 they were designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Agriculture has helped to form the landscape and still provides the life blood for its continued conservation. In recent years there has been a resurgence of locally distinctive produce. It is an isolated and unspoilt area with a diverse landscape with charming villages and rustic farms. A wonderful location for Dickie Dirts Curiosity Shop.
